I am self taught and have been into photography for more than 30 years.What photography means to me is to observe, appreciate and capture the essence of the scene, the object or the subject. I like capturing the atmosphere of the evironment and the mood. It is my hope that my images will transport the viewer to the moment, mood and scene that was experienced by me.A picture paints a thousand words. It is my objective to be a story teller through my images. I hope to invoke a certain feeling with the viewer through the images. Hope you enjoy my work.
In November 2015, I was invited by Canon Lab to be involved in the Decoy portrait project in which six photographers were asked to to take six different portraits based on the their perceptions of the subject. The Decoy project was a huge success worldwide attracting more than seven million views.
